MAE 495 Special Topics undergraduate

Special Topics can be pursued with the guidance of a professor and may qualify as a technical elective if approved. A form must be filled for approval. The instructor of record can help you find a professor to guide you, but the instructor of record must enter the grades and monitor progress. Do not sign for 495 without the form completed and approved or you may end up doing the work and not getting credit for the technical elective. Some proposed topics are available in the database but you have to check with the instructors as some of these might have been taken by other students already. Other topics can be arranged with the professors.

MAE 496 Senior Thesis undergraduate

Senior Thesis is similar to 495 but requires a Thesis to be written. Some proposed topics are available in the database but you have to check with the instructors as some of these might have been taken by other students already. Other topics can be arranged with the professors.

MAE 695 Special Topics MS

Special Topics can be used for graduate credit with prior approval from the student’s graduate committee. MAE 795 Special Topics Ph.D.
